Matthew

Exercise Physiologist
About Matthew:

Matthew is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a Master’s in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Flinders University.

His passion for exercise physiology began through his involvement in team sports from a young age, which developed into a strong interest in how exercise can improve physical function, independence and overall quality of life. He enjoys helping people achieve their goals through individualised exercise programs that are evidence-based, achievable and, most importantly, enjoyable.

With a broad clinical interest across a range of conditions and populations, Matthew is passionate about supporting people to build strength, improve movement and balance, manage chronic health conditions, and feel more confident in their everyday activities.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll find him playing cricket and watching live sport.

His key areas of interest include:

  • Hydrotherapy
  • Balance and falls prevention
  • Paediatric exercise physiology
  • Chronic disease management, including musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiovascular conditions
