A few of the Medicare plans our team can help you access. Eligibility is ultimately assessed by your GP or referring specialist — this is a general guide, not medical advice.
GP Chronic Condition Management Plan
Up to 5 allied health sessions per calendar year (10 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients)
- ✓Ongoing medical condition that has lasted, or is expected to last, 6+ months, or is terminal
- ✓Assessed by your regular GP, who has provided most of your care over the past 12 months
- ✓No fixed condition list — eligibility comes down to your GP's clinical judgement
- ✓Replaced the old GP Management Plan and Team Care Arrangement from 1 July 2025
Eating Disorder Treatment Plan
Up to 40 psychological sessions plus 20 dietetic sessions over 12 months
- ✓Automatic eligibility with a diagnosis of anorexia nervosa
- ✓Bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder or OSFED: eligible with an EDE-Q score of 3+ and at least 2 of 5 clinical indicators
- ✓Prepared by your GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist
- ✓Sessions are released in stages, with progress reviews along the way
Complex Neurodevelopmental Conditions & Eligible Disabilities
Up to 8 assessment sessions plus 20 treatment sessions, lifetime
- ✓Covers assessment and treatment for autism, ADHD and other complex neurodevelopmental conditions, or an eligible disability
- ✓Referral must come from a paediatrician or psychiatrist — a GP referral isn't sufficient
- ✓Assessment sessions support diagnosis or contribute to a treatment and management plan
- ✓Assessment and treatment sessions are counted separately, not from a shared pool
